Indus Consortium in Collaboration with College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES), University of the Punjab Lahore organized a conference at CEES and Prof. Dr. Sajid Rashid Ahmad, Principal CEES/Dean Geo Sciences/VC University of the Kamalia, presided over the event. He highlighted the harmful impacts of fossil fuel burning resulting global Warming and Climate change in Pakistan. Moreover, He stressed the adaptation/usage of Green Energy Projects instead of fossil fuels. He emphasized that climate change transcends borders and necessitates widespread awareness.
He urged the youth to leverage social media and modern technology to propagate awareness, advocating for the establishment of cleanliness committees in communities.
