Indus Consortium in Collaboration with College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES), University of the Punjab Lahore organized a conference at CEES and Prof. Dr. Sajid Rashid Ahmad, Principal CEES/Dean Geo Sciences/VC University of the Kamalia, presided over the event. He highlighted the harmful impacts of fossil fuel burning resulting global Warming and Climate change in Pakistan. Moreover, He stressed the adaptation/usage of Green Energy Projects instead of fossil fuels. He emphasized that climate change transcends borders and necessitates widespread awareness. He underscored the Islamic principle of cleanliness and lamented the prevailing lack of civic responsibility.
